Faceted stones
A faceted stone is one that has been cut to have small, flat
surfaces that make transparent stones sparkle. Cut surface reflects the light

refracts and re-emerges.

The nacre is what gives pearls their beautiful shine and shade. Freshwater pearls have solid nacre. They are also quite durable, resisting chipping, wear, and degeneration.
